ALIenergy highlight energy challenges faced by households in Argyll and Bute

We were delighted to welcome Brendan O’Hara MP and Fiona Stage to our office to discuss the high levels of fuel poverty in Argyll and Bute and particularly, the challenges faced by households with expensive electric heating. Households with electric heating are paying on average 3 times more then someone with a gas boiler, yet recieved no further support in this winter's cost of living crisis payments. During the meeting we shared lots of data and lived experience examples of our clients with Brendan and look forward to him sharing these hard hitting facts with the Energy Minister Graham Stuart MP and colleagues in Westminster.
