We are working with Energy Action Scotland to help eligible households in Argyll & Bute and Lochaber access the Live Well: Improving Lives for Vulnerable Households: Scotland4 (2025/26). This fund offers new and efficient white goods to those living with an active cancer diagnosis or life-limiting condition and will run until the end of March 2026.

Eligibility:

In addition to an ‘active’ cancer diagnosis or life-limiting condition those eligible to receive help from the Live Well: Improving Lives for Vulnerable Households will meet the following criteria:

• Have a household income below the mean (as per SHCS Key Findings, Local Authority Analyses) for the local authority area. For Argyll and Bute the mean is £28,000, for Highland the mean is £29,300.

AND

• In receipt of benefits (DWP or SSS). Evidence of receipt of benefit is required – this could be an award letter or a bank statement showing pay-ins from DWP or SSS, for example or applying for benefits

OR

• Client is in receipt of a DS1500 or BASRiS certificate
