What?

• Hermitage STEM Fest is a one-day careers event that brings together companies whose work and apprenticeship programmes require STEM skills. Using a mini-conference format, the event gives young delegates the opportunity to meet employers, explore learning and career pathways into STEM jobs and take part in a range of engaging, informative workshops.

When?

• Usually held in May.

Who?

• Approximately 230 S2 pupils from Hermitage Academy are invited to visit the marketplace at timed intervals and attend workshops.

Where?

• Hermitage Academy, Helensburgh. Lunch and refreshments are provided for all attendees.

How? 

• Represent your organisation at a Marketplace stand, highlighting what you do, how it connects to STEM, and future demand in Argyll and Bute and beyond. Hands-on, interactive stands work best, so feel free to be ambitious with your resources.
